「第七末那緣境，西方諸德亦有兩釋。一釋云：『末那緣阿賴耶識見分為我，緣阿賴耶識相分為其我所。』」
"Regarding the cognitive object of the seventh, manas, the masters of the Western lands also have two explanations. One explanation states: 'Manas cognizes the seeing-portion (darśana-bhāga) of the ālaya-vijñāna as the self, and cognizes the image-portion (nimitta-bhāga) of the ālaya-vijñāna as its belongings (ātmiya).'"
