解云：「第六識分別用強，是故得緣，第八識無此分別，是故不緣。此即第一約因位辨也。

Explanation: "The conceptualizing function of the sixth consciousness is strong, and therefore it is able to cognize them; the eighth consciousness lacks this conceptualization, and therefore does not cognize them. This concludes the first [part], analyzing from the standpoint of the causal stage.
