將釋此論，略作十門：一教起所因、二明藏所攝、三顯教分齊、四教所被機、五能詮教體、六所詮宗趣、七釋論題目、八造論緣起、九傳譯由致、十隨文解釋。

To explain this treatise, ten gates are briefly established: 1. The reasons for the arising of the teaching; 2. Clarifying the collection in which it is subsumed; 3. Revealing the scope of the teaching; 4. The capacities addressed by the teaching; 5. The teaching-essence of the expressing [words]; 6. The tenet and purport of that which is expressed; 7. Explaining the title of the treatise; 8. The conditions for the composition of the treatise; 9. The reasons for its transmission and translation; 10. Explaining the text section by section.
