1.37

就前中三：初顯所得果、二結果由因、三致敬彼因。初中二：先標章、後釋義。釋義中二：先總釋、後別釋。前中二：先總舉顯勝、二「所以」下釋其所由。

In the former there are three: first, revealing the attained fruit; second, tracing the fruit to its cause; third, paying homage to that cause. In the first there are two: first, stating the heading; later, explaining the meaning. In explaining the meaning there are two: first, general explanation; later, specific explanation. In the former there are two: first, generally adducing to reveal its supremacy; second, from "why" below, explaining its reason.
