問曰：若離念者，是修行人不？答：最大修行人以理會故，皆是大行。故經中說：「聲聞之人，無數劫中修行之福，不及菩薩一念眠福」也。「名為得入」者，此結答也。

Question: If one is free from thoughts, is one a practitioner or not? Answer: One is the greatest practitioner, because by uniting with the principle, all [actions] are great practice. Therefore it is said in a sūtra: "The merit of a śrāvaka's cultivation throughout countless kalpas does not equal the merit of a bodhisattva sleeping for a single thought-moment." "Is called gaining entry": this concludes the answer.
