2.50

此論所說理行及教，凡夫二乘絕分，故名「諸佛甚深廣大義」。此之所顯不能廣辨，故名「隨分總持說」也。以行歸本，故名「迴此功德如法性」。所修不自，故名「普利眾生界」也。

The principle, practice, and teaching expounded in this treatise are beyond the reach of pṛthagjanas and the two vehicles, hence they are called the 'profound and vast meaning of all Buddhas'. What is revealed here cannot be differentiated in full, hence it is called 'expounded comprehensively according to capacity'. Because practice returns to the source, it is called 'dedicating this merit in accord with the dharmatā'. Because what is cultivated is not for oneself, it is called 'universally benefiting the realm of sentient beings'.
