「心念法異」者，謂煩惱數法，其相各異。如分別智相應染中，我見愛我我慢業異也。《迦延經》中說云「心及心所念法」，當知此中心念法者，是心所念法，皆是心數之別名也。

"Differences among the dharmas of mental ideation" means that the dharmas of mental factors have distinct characteristics. For example, in the defilement associated with discriminating cognition, self-view, self-love, self-pride, and karma are different. The Kātyāyanasūtra says, "mind and the dharmas of mental ideation." One should know that here "dharmas of mental ideation" means dharmas of mental associates (caitta), both being alternative names for mental factors.
