As for "the fourth, the perfuming of conditions," the round wisdom that newly arises acts as a dominant condition to perfume the minds of sentient beings, causing them to give rise to revulsion, delight, and various preparations, up to the fruit of Buddhahood; hence it is named the perfuming of conditions. These virtues of practice are not separate from the round wisdom; they are the reflections of wisdom-waves, and hence it is called a mirror. As the Buddhabhūmisūtra says: "The great round mirror wisdom can give rise to the reflections of all wholesome dharmas of sentient beings." This is what it means. The other two kinds of mirrors are clear in meaning and can be understood.
