初教起因者，略有十因：一、依何智？二、示何法？三、云何示？四、以何顯？五、依何本？六、藉何力？七、為何義？八、以何緣？九、由何起？十、幾何益？

First, regarding the reasons for the emergence of the teaching, there are briefly ten causes: 1. Relying on what cognition? 2. Indicating what Dharma? 3. How does it indicate it? 4. By what is it revealed? 5. Relying on what basis? 6. Depending on what power? 7. For the sake of what purpose? 8. By what conditions? 9. Arising from what? 10. How much benefit is there?
