第二轉識中，言依動能見者，依前業識之動，轉成能見之相。轉識有二：若就無明所動轉成能見者，在本識中；如其境界所動轉成能見者，在事識中。此中轉相，約初義也。

In the second, regarding the evolving consciousness, the phrase "relying on the stirring, it is able to perceive" means that relying on the stirring of the preceding karmic consciousness, it evolves into the mark of being able to perceive. The evolving consciousness has two [aspects]: if, stirred by avidyā, it evolves into being able to perceive, it resides in the fundamental consciousness; if, stirred by sense-objects, it evolves into being able to perceive, it resides in the empirical consciousness. The mark of evolving here refers to the first meaning.
