用熏習者，即是眾生外緣之力。如是外緣有無量義，略說二種。云何為二？一者、差別緣，二者、平等緣。
"The perfuming of function is the power of external conditions for sentient beings. Such external conditions have immeasurable meanings, but briefly stated there are two kinds. What are the two? The first is differentiated conditions; the second is equal conditions."
