後中增長行者，謂方便行，即自分也。受道者，謂依前方便正觀相應，即勝進也。亦可初即四攝利他行，後即三空自利行故也。

In the latter: 'increasing practice' refers to the practice of skillful means, which is one's own stage. 'Receiving the Way' means being in accord with correct contemplation relying on the preceding skillful means, which is superior advancement. Alternatively, the first is the practice of benefiting others through the four means of embracing, and the second is the practice of self-benefit through the three emptinesses.
