○答中有二：初、正答前問；次、舉劣顯勝，謂前信滿故進也，後信未成故退。正答中二：先答三問，後結成位。

In the answer there are two parts: first, directly answering the previous questions; second, citing the inferior to reveal the superior—meaning that the former advances because faith is fulfilled, whereas the latter regresses because faith is not yet complete. Within the direct answer there are two: first, answering the three questions; second, concluding upon the rank.
