此二種生滅依於無明熏習而有，所謂依因、依緣。依因者，不覺義故；依緣者，妄作境界義故。
"These two kinds of arising and ceasing exist by relying on the perfuming of avidyā: namely, relying on the cause and relying on the conditions. Relying on the cause is because of the meaning of non-enlightenment; relying on the conditions is because of the meaning of falsely creating objective realms."
