前中二：先明通滅，謂得對治無明滅時，無明所起現識境界亦隨滅，故云因滅則緣滅也。
In the first part, there are two: first, clarifying universal cessation, meaning that when the antidote is attained and avidyā ceases, the perceptual objects of the manifesting consciousness that arose from avidyā also cease accordingly. Therefore it says: 'If the cause ceases, then the condition ceases.'
