3.81

如風依水而有動相。若水滅者，則風相斷絕無所依止。以水不滅，風相相續，唯風滅故動相隨滅，非是水滅。

It is like the wind relying on the water to have marks of movement. If the water ceases, then the marks of the wind are severed and have nothing on which to rely; because the water does not cease, the marks of the wind continue. Only because the wind ceases do the marks of movement cease accordingly; it is not that the water ceases.
