From here below, the second [major section] re-manifests the essence and characteristics of the causes and conditions upon which it relies, within which there are two parts: first, briefly clarifying that pratītyasamutpāda is extremely profound; later, from "what is called the mind-nature" downward, extensively revealing the distinct meanings of pratītyasamutpāda. In the first part there are two: first, stating and praising its extreme profundity; later, from "Why is this?" downward, explaining the reason for its profundity.
