"Sixth, faith in the realms of the Tathāgatas increases. Seventh, they distance themselves from sorrow and regret, being valiant and fearless within saṃsāra. Eighth, their minds are gentle and pliant, abandoning arrogance, not vexed by others. Ninth, even if they have not yet attained samādhi, at all times and in all circumstances they can reduce afflictions and take no joy in the world. Tenth, if they attain samādhi, they are not startled or shaken by any sounds of external conditions."
