Thirtieth: True and false mind and objective spheres have, in all, four propositions: 1. Mind and objective sphere existing according to sentiment: the objective sphere means that emptiness and existence are contradictory, because the two characteristics are maintained; the mind means that the two views are not destroyed, because it is false sentiment. Or, the objective sphere shares the same nature of emptiness, because both are the imagined nature; the mind is also the same, because both are false views. 2. Mind and objective sphere existing according to dharmas: the objective sphere means that emptiness and existence are non-dual, because both are fused; the mind means the cessation of the two, because it sees that there is no duality. Or, emptiness and existence on the objective sphere are contradictory, because they completely eclipse one another; on the mind there are also two, because whichever part is seen, the nature of the remaining part is not different. 3. Explaining sentiment in terms of dharmas: regarding the objective sphere, existence and non-existence both exist according to sentiment, and existence and non-existence are both non-existent according to principle; non-existence and existence are non-dual as a single nature, or they are also contradictory, because they completely eclipse one another; the mind means falsely grasping existence within sentiment, because it is an adhering mind. Or, it also infers and knows that its principle is non-existent, because it is a mind of partial contemplation. 4. Explaining dharmas in terms of sentiment: regarding the objective sphere, existence and non-existence are both existent according to principle, and existence and non-existence are both non-existent according to sentiment; non-existence and existence are non-dual as a single nature, or they are also contradictory, because they completely eclipse one another; the mind means seeing the existence according to principle, through wisdom, and seeing the non-existence according to sentiment, through compassion, or seeing the mind of non-duality, because it is the one mind. In the above four gates, there are four propositions each with respect to the objective sphere, and likewise four propositions each with respect to the mind, making thirty-two propositions in total. Ponder this accordingly.
