問地得下，二、問答釋妨，二：初、問。意云：始得智淨相以自利，方起不思識業以利他，故上云：以依智淨作勝境界。若然者，則利他有始，何言無始耶？

"Question: On the grounds one attains..." is the second part, questions and answers to resolve objections, which has two parts: first, the question. The meaning is: only having first attained the mark of wisdom purity to benefit oneself does one then give rise to inconceivable activity to benefit others; hence it said above: "Because relying on wisdom purity one produces superior spheres of experience." If so, then benefiting others has a beginning; why say "beginningless"?
