"This is in terms of..." is the second part, resolving objections. Someone might ask: "Next it says that all spheres of experience are manifested within it; why does it say here that there is nothing that can be manifested?" Therefore this explanation resolves it. The parikalpita exists in sentiment but is non-existent in principle; the paratantra exists in marks but is non-existent in nature. Therefore, know that the statement here that "there is nothing that can be manifested" is because of the absence of the essence of delusion; that it says below "manifests" is because of the presence of illusory marks. Below that it says "permanently abiding One Mind, etc.," which clarifies that the paratantra has no essence and is solely the pariniṣpanna; thus the meaning of the three natures is complete.
