11.19

又由下，二、無緣外義故不說。末那無緣外者，以前五唯緣外塵，第八緣內根身種子及器世間，第六通緣一切，第七唯緣第八見分。今六麁皆緣外境，故不說也。

From 'Also because' below: second, not speaking [of it] because it lacks the meaning of taking external [objects] as conditions. 'Manas does not take external [objects] as conditions': because the first five solely take external dusts as conditions, the eighth takes the internal sense-faculties, body, seeds, and the container world as conditions, the sixth comprehensively takes all as conditions, and the seventh solely takes the seeing-part of the eighth as condition. Now the six coarse marks all take external objects as conditions; hence it is not spoken of.
