論　以依下，二、所依。疏　根本無明者，以是所依，故當根本，如夢依睡也。

The treatise says: From 'Because relying on' below: second, the basis. The commentary states: 'Fundamental ignorance': because it is the basis, it corresponds to the root, just as dreaming relies on sleep.
