然此下，疏二：初、敘意。逆次配者，以前說隨流生起，故從細至麁為順次。今明反流除斷，故從麁至細為逆次。前取近理為先，今取易斷為先也。由此下，配第一染，以二乘三賢同斷此故。便借下，將前科此，免更會同，誠為省要。

"However, this..." Below, the commentary has two parts: first, stating the intention. Matching in reverse order: previously, when speaking of arising by following the flow, going from subtle to coarse was the direct order. Now, clarifying elimination and severance by going against the flow, going from coarse to subtle is the reverse order. Previously, what is close to the principle was taken as primary; now, what is easy to sever is taken as primary. "Due to this..." and so on matches the first defilement, because the two vehicles and the three ranks of the worthy cut this off together. "Conveniently borrowing..." and so on applies the previous section headings to this, saving further reconciliation, which is truly concise and essential.
