12.67

此明下，二、通妨。或問：「此言自然，與外道自然何別？」故此釋之。此以無心應物，任運現化為自然，不同外道無因果之自然，斯則言同而義異也。

[Regarding] "This clarifies...", and so on: second, resolving objections. Someone asks: "What is the difference between the word 'spontaneous' (ziran) here and the non-Buddhists' nature/spontaneity?" Therefore, this is explained: here, responding to things without mind and manifesting transformations naturally is 'spontaneous'; it is not like the non-Buddhists' spontaneity devoid of cause and effect. Thus, the words are the same, but the meanings are different.
