通緣。疏　以根本等者，前云：由不覺故生三種相。又云：以有境界緣故，復生六種相。如是雖即次第而生，然推其根，無明為本。

[On the section] "General Conditions."

Commentary: Regarding "taking the fundamental and so forth," it was previously stated: "Due to non-enlightenment, three kinds of marks are produced." It was also stated: "Because there are the conditions of cognitive objects, six kinds of marks are further produced." Though they are produced sequentially in this way, when tracing their root, avidyā is the basis.
