15.30

一、約識舉人。論　究竟地，即第十地，非謂妙覺也。順業識者，謂業相展轉現諸境界，是則境從識生。十住已去諸菩薩等，深達此理，依此修行，故見報身佛也。初發意言，即信成就發心也。亦可初信已去名初發心，此中但是依三昧心所見者，即前平等緣也。

First, presenting the person in terms of consciousness. [Śāstra] 'Ultimate stage' means the tenth bhūmi, not the stage of wondrous enlightenment. 'Accords with the karma-consciousness' means that the mark of karma sequentially manifests all realms of experience; this means that the objective realm is born from consciousness. The bodhisattvas from the ten abodes onward profoundly penetrate this principle and practice according to it; hence they see the saṃbhogakāya Buddha. 'Initial generation of the intention' means the generation of the intention through the completion of faith. It may also mean that from the initial faith onward it is called the initial generation of intention; here, whatever is seen relying on the mind of samādhi is the aforementioned impartial condition.
