18.48

治中，疏　總明除障者，準《華嚴經．行願》中，亦是別除一障，即我慢障也，與今疏文各是一意。如人下，喻釋，可知。

Under remedies: Commentary: "generally clarifies the removal of obstacles": according to the "Practices and Vows" in the *Avataṃsaka-sūtra*, it is also to eliminate one obstacle distinctively, namely the obstacle of pride, which differs in intent from the present commentary. Commentary: "Like a person..." and below: metaphorical explanation, as can be known.
