歸依三寶者，然諸論具闕不同，有具歸者，如《智論》等；有唯歸佛者，如《地持論》等；有唯歸人者，如《十地論》等；有並不歸者，如《十二門論》等，此乃各隨作者之意。今所歸者，具也。

"Taking refuge in the Three Jewels": treatises vary in whether they are complete or deficient in this regard. Some take refuge completely, like the Dazhidu lun and others; some take refuge only in the Buddha, like the Bodhisattvabhūmi-śāstra and others; some take refuge only in persons, like the Daśabhūmika-śāstra and others; some do not take refuge at all, like the Dvādaśanikāya-śāstra and others—these simply follow the intention of the respective authors. The refuge taken here is complete.
