8.50

若鎔融下，七、合二義成一門。以本從一生滅門展轉開成八門之義，乃是據本以彰末。今却收束以成生滅門，則是攝末以歸本也。

"If fused...", seventh, combining the two meanings into one approach. Because developing from the one approach of arising and ceasing through successive unfoldings to form the meanings of the eight approaches was to reveal the branches based on the root. Now, gathering and bundling them back to form the approach of arising and ceasing is to subsume the branches to return to the root.
