二、釋本覺名，疏二：初、隨文別釋。責意云二者，但反覆成難，而實無二，故本疏云：進退成難。

Second, explaining the name "original enlightenment". The commentary has two parts: first, explaining separately following the text. The intention behind raising the objection of "two" is merely that turning it back and forth creates a difficulty, whereas in truth there are no two; hence the root commentary states: "Advancing and retreating creates a difficulty."
