二、所觀。論　覺心初起者，始覺覺彼心體初起之相，即生相也。起謂生也。

Second, the object of contemplation. The Śāstra states: "Awakening to the mind's initial arising": actualized enlightenment awakens to the mark of the initial arising of that mind-essence, which is the mark of arising. "Arising" means being produced.
