First, the person capable of cultivation. The commentary says: "Multiple gates": meaning the differences between the Hīnayāna, the provisional, and the real teachings, as already seen in the previous text. Among these three, it now adopts the real teaching to clarify the meaning of the three categories [of beings], as differentiated in the commentary.
