1.14

解釋分中三門：一、顯示正義門，謂正釋所立大乘法義；二、對治邪執門，謂既明正理滅除情或；三、分別發趣道相門，謂遣人法耶執，乃明趣正階降也。

In the 'Section on Explanation,' there are three gates: first, the gate of revealing the correct meaning, which correctly explains the meaning of the established Mahāyāna Dharma; second, the gate of remedying heterodox grasping, which eliminates emotional delusions once the correct principle has been clarified; third, the gate of distinguishing the signs of setting out toward the path, which, having dispelled the heterodox grasping at self and dharmas, clarifies the successive stages of proceeding toward correctness.
