生滅因緣義，亦名五意義。略有四門：一釋名義；二出體相；三廣明旨；四問答釋疑。

The meaning of the causes and conditions of arising and ceasing is also called the meaning of the five kinds of mental consciousness. Briefly, there are four sections: first, explaining the names and meanings; second, showing the essence and characteristics; third, broadly clarifying the purport; fourth, resolving doubts through questions and answers.
