佛身義，略有八門：一、定常無常；二、顯身形量；三、所化共不共；四、定權實；五、相行多少；六、所見不同；七、佛身開合；八、所化分齊。

The meaning of the Buddha-bodies has, in brief, eight portals: 1. Determining permanence and impermanence; 2. Revealing the bodily dimensions and quantity; 3. Whether those transformed are common or not common; 4. Determining the provisional and the real; 5. The number of marks and practices; 6. Differences in what is seen; 7. Opening and combining the Buddha-bodies; 8. The demarcation of those transformed.
