第三、示其旨者，於中略有八義：一、歸敬三寶義；二、和合識義；三、四相義；四、本覺義；五、無明義；六、生滅因緣義，亦名五意；七、六染義；八、佛身義也。

Third, regarding indicating its core themes, within it there are roughly eight meanings: first, the meaning of taking refuge and paying homage to the Triratna; second, the meaning of the composite consciousness; third, the meaning of the four characteristics; fourth, the meaning of innate awakening; fifth, the meaning of avidyā; sixth, the meaning of the causes and conditions of arising and ceasing, also called the five kinds of mental consciousness; seventh, the meaning of the six defilements; eighth, the meaning of the Buddha-bodies.
