自無智力，故藉他論。而樂廣樂略，仍是信行、法行二類種性不同，亦是文持、義持二類熏習有別故也。初釋疑竟。

Lacking intellectual power of their own, they therefore depend on treatises by others. But delighting in the extensive or delighting in the concise is still because the two kinds of gotra—practice through faith and practice according to Dharma—are not the same, and because the two kinds of perfuming—holding the text and holding the meaning—are distinct. The first [part], resolving doubts, is concluded.
