若妄念息，即知心相生、住、異、滅皆悉無相，以於一心前後同時，皆不相應，無自性故。
If deluded thoughts cease, one knows that the marks of the mind—arising, abiding, changing, and ceasing—are all markless, because with respect to the one mind, [their being] before, after, and simultaneous are all contradictory, having no intrinsic nature.
