the subtlest among the coarse and the coarsest among the subtle are the cognitive sphere of bodhisattvas' wisdom; the subtlest among the subtle is the cognitive sphere of the Buddha's wisdom. (These eight characters were lost from the canon, and are supplied here following the Liang translation).
