3.66

無始無明熏所起識，非諸凡夫、二乘智慧之所能知；解行地菩薩始學觀察，法身菩薩能少分知，至究竟地猶未知盡，唯有如來能總明了。

"The consciousness produced by the perfuming of beginningless ignorance cannot be known by the wisdom of ordinary persons or of the two vehicles; bodhisattvas of the stage of understanding and practice begin to learn to observe it; dharmakāya bodhisattvas can know it in small part; having reached the ultimate stage, one still does not know it completely; only the Tathāgata can know it fully and clearly."
