6.28

云何修止觀門？謂息滅一切戲論境界是止義，明見因果生滅之相是觀義。初各別修，漸次增長，至於成就，任運雙行。

[Text:] How does one cultivate the gate of calming and contemplation? Calming means stopping all spheres of conceptual proliferation; contemplation means clearly seeing the marks of the arising and ceasing of causes and effects. At first they are cultivated separately, gradually increasing; when perfection is attained, they operate together spontaneously.
