第三門中約時別者，十二部，本生、本事唯說過去。授記一門唯說未來。方廣一部所說之理不屬三世，理平等故；若從詮別，得通三世。自餘八部，所說一向通於三世。

Regarding the differentiation according to time in the third door: among the twelve divisions, jātaka and itivṛttaka speak only of the past. The single door of vyākaraṇa speaks only of the future. The principle spoken of in the single category of vaipulya does not belong to the three times, because the principle is impartial; but if considered according to the distinct elucidations, it can extend through the three times. The remaining eight categories, what they speak of is throughout applicable to the three times.
