Third, distinguishing differences in terms of bondage and liberation. If it is liberation and bears the characteristic of being unattached, that is cessation through deliberation. That which is liberation but does not bear the characteristic of being unattached is cessation not through deliberation: future defiled faults never arising again is generically named liberation. That which is neither liberation nor of the characteristic of being unattached is impermanent cessation. This statement is not exhaustive: in actual truth, impermanence covers both liberation and non-liberation. Untainted impermanence is liberation; tainted impermanence is non-liberation. Bondage and non-bondage are categorized in the same way.
