4.33

次就一世前後明具。現望過去，非但有彼識等五果，當知亦有生死二報。具有之義，備如前辨。現望未來，非直有其愛取有因，當知亦具無明及行。具有之義，亦如前辨（此四門竟）。

Next, completeness is clarified in terms of the before and after within a single lifetime. Looking back from the present to the past, not only are there those five fruits of consciousness and the rest, but one should also know that there are the two retributions of birth and death; the meaning of possessing them is fully as distinguished above. Looking forward from the present to the future, not only are there the causes of craving, grasping, and existence, but one should also know that there are also ignorance and karmic formations; the meaning of possessing them is also as distinguished above (this concludes the fourth gate).
