8.64

次就三世辨定諸入。依如《毘曇》，十二入法並通三世。若依《成實》，六根五塵，局唯現在一剎那頃，不通過未。在過未者，法入攝故。法入一種，該通三世，以法寬故。大乘法中，文無定判，多同《毘曇》（此二門竟）。

Next, determining the various āyatanas in terms of the three periods of time: according to the Abhidharma, the dharmas of the twelve āyatanas all extend throughout the three periods of time. According to the Tattvasiddhi, the six faculties and five objects are strictly confined to the present single kṣaṇa and do not extend to the past or future; those in the past and future are subsumed under the dharma āyatana. The single dharma āyatana pervades the three periods of time, because dharmas are broad. In the Mahāyāna teaching, the texts contain no fixed judgment, but mostly agree with the Abhidharma.
