又且問：諸佛何意依二諦說法耶？解云：欲明十方諸佛所說皆實，故依二諦說法。何者？諦是實義，有於凡實、空於聖實，是二皆實。諸佛依此二實說法，是故諸佛所說皆實也。外道九十六種所說，何意虛假不實？以其不依二諦故，所以虛假不實。諸佛依二諦說法故，凡所說法皆實。以諸佛所說皆實故，所以諸佛依二諦說法也。

Furthermore, question: For what purpose do the Buddhas rely on the two truths to teach the Dharma? The explanation is: Desiring to clarify that whatever is taught by the Buddhas of the ten directions is real, they therefore rely on the two truths to teach the Dharma. Why? 'Truth' means 'real': existence is real to ordinary people, and emptiness is real to noble ones; both of these are real. The Buddhas teach the Dharma in reliance upon these two realities, and therefore whatever the Buddhas teach is real. For what reason is what the ninety-six kinds of tīrthikas teach false and unreal? Because they do not rely on the two truths; therefore it is false and unreal. Because the Buddhas teach the Dharma in reliance upon the two truths, whatever Dharma they teach is real. Because whatever the Buddhas teach is real, the Buddhas rely on the two truths to teach the Dharma.
