問：何故或離或合耶？解云：為存略故離釋，為義同故合明。世、俗名雖異，其義是同，故合名世俗諦。真、第一義亦爾也。

Question: Why are they sometimes separated and sometimes combined? Explanation: They are explained separately to preserve brevity, and clarified jointly because their meaning is identical. Although the names 'worldly' and 'conventional' differ, their meaning is the same; therefore, they are combined and called 'conventional truth'. The same is true of 'ultimate' and 'supreme meaning'.
