Question: How is there simultaneous contemplation right from the initial aspiration? Explanation: Upon initially aspiring, one learns the two truths. There is no bodhisattva who does not learn the two truths; anyone who is a bodhisattva learns the contemplation of the two truths. For this reason, right from the initial aspiration one learns the simultaneous contemplation of the two truths, and all the way to the final mind one also learns the simultaneous contemplation of the two truths, though not without the difference of dimness and clarity. Because of dimness, it is the initial mind; because of clarity, it is the final mind. This dimness and clarity distinguish earlier and later, not whether one is simultaneous or non-simultaneous.
