有名曰：經稱「法身已上，入無為境。心不可以智知，形不可以象測。體絕陰入，心智寂滅。」而復云「進修三位，積德彌廣。」夫進修本於好尚，積德生於涉求。好尚則取捨情現，涉求則損益交陳。既以取捨為心、損益為體，而曰體絕陰入，心智寂滅。此文乖致殊，而會之一人，無異指南為北，以曉迷夫。

The Named said: The sūtras state: 'From the dharmakāya upward, one enters the realm of the asaṃskṛta. The mind cannot be known by knowledge; the form cannot be measured by images. The substance is severed from the skandhas and āyatanas; the mind and wisdom are quieted and extinguished.' Yet they also say: 'Advancing and cultivating the three stages, accumulating virtue ever more broadly.' Now advancing and cultivating is rooted in preference; accumulating virtue is born from seeking. If there is preference, the sentiment of grasping and rejecting appears; if there is seeking, loss and gain are displayed in alternation. Since one takes grasping and rejecting as the mind and loss and gain as the substance, yet says that the substance is severed from the skandhas and āyatanas and that mind and wisdom are quieted and extinguished—these words conflict and their imports diverge, yet bringing them together in a single person is no different from pointing to the south and calling it north to instruct a confused man.
